Allison’s dream wedding day nuptials took place on December 31, 2010. Of course this bride had a show-stopping designer bridal gown from Party Dress Express, Jasmine Couture T345. From the second Allison put on her designer wedding gown, she could not stop smiling! Her strapless wedding gown had sparkling beads throughout the bodice, cascading down to the tulle skirt. The tiffany train allowed Allison to feel comfortable during the walk down the aisle to the dancing at the reception!
The wedding took place at the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor in Plymouth, MA. She had a classic formal/black tie optional wedding. Her theme of teal and silver carried along the New Years Eve celebrations! The bridesmaids wore teal Belsoie L3007 satin gowns with matching silver formal shoes. The dresses had a sweetheart neckline and ruching along the waistline, complimenting all 8 women!
Their photographer was Naman Briner, the groom’s cousin. The couple flew him in from Australia just to capture this special day! The Radisson Hotel Harbor Grille provided the food. The flowers were kept simple from Petal Pushers Florist in Plymouth, MA. The arrangements kept it sleek and sophisticated with white and off white roses. The bouquets had silver springs throughout the flowers and silver ribbon wrapped around the stems. The mouth watering four-tiered wedding cake was from Konditor Meister of Braintree, MA.
Of course the special day wouldn’t be complete without some small touches of sparkle and glamour! Hairstyles were done by Kathleen Sheppard and Nina McCloud from Canton, MA. Allison wore her hair in a low up-do with curls and a side part. She completed the bridal look with her fingertip veil, worn right above her curls. Her flawless makeup was done by Laura and Susan Perry Day Spa in Plymouth, MA. Jewelry was from Zinnia Jewelry in Cambridge, MA.
Our favorite fashion detail? Allison’s sparkling silver glitter peep-toe sling back pumps! What a perfect touch for this New Years Eve wedding!
When asked what was her most memorable or favorite moment of the night, Allison replied, “Since our wedding was almost 8 hours long there were a few memorable/favorite moments through out the night. It was hard to pick just one! First: Kissing my husband at midnight! We were ready to start the New Year off as husband and wife! Second: Dancing with my dad! I am daddy's little girl. (I'm the only girl and have 3 brothers so it was really special). Third: Karaoke! Everyone loves karaoke so we had the DJ do karaoke at midnight. What a blast that was”.
Allison’s advice to other brides-to-be is not to stress out if something doesn’t go as planned. It is your day and everything will fall into place perfectly! Allison suggests all brides to sit down once and a while and relax, enjoy the wedding. Take everything in during your wedding day! The whole thing goes by unbelievably fast; so don’t forget to enjoy yourself!
